Muossi Grill is Saariselkä’s very own hidden gem, with roots stretching back to the 1980s and 90s. Beloved by both locals and travelers, the grill is especially known for its signature burger, the Rykimä – a reindeer burger that has earned near-legendary status.
The current owner, Pauliina, took over the grill in 2017. Located in a building completed in 2009 in the heart of Saariselkä, the grill’s heart and soul in addition to Pauliina are three family members that ensure the service is always fast, friendly, and consistent – even when the line stretches out the door.
At Muossi, every meal is made to order from scratch, keeping the flavor truly authentic. Over the years, the menu has grown, but one thing has never changed: hunger is satisfied, and customers keep coming back. The taste of Lapland is right here – straight from the grill.
